Guest Talk on “Tips to Excel in English Communication Skills” organized by Literary Club, Agricultural College, Adilabad on 4.5.2024

Literary Club, Agricultural College, Adilabad organized a guest lecture on “Tips to Excel in English Communication Skills” to the BSc. (Hons.) Ag. I year students in the classroom on 4.5.2024 F.N. At the outset, Associate Dean, Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan welcomed the guest speaker Guest speaker Sri. A. Girish, English Lecturer, Nalanda Degree College, Adilabad, teaching staff and students to the programme. A brief biodata of guest speaker, Sri. A. Girish was presented by Dr. K. Bhanu Rekha, Incharge, Literary Club. The lecture focused on the significance of English language in the present day life apart, from the need to acquaint to different communication skills like Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW) in English. The speaker also stressed up on the tips like working on English exercises related to reading, speaking, watching and writing on some interested topics for improvising communication skills as an initial step. The techniques of Just a minute (JAM), verbal, non- verbal and visual aspects of communication were also covered with live examples. The guest lecture followed a quick and crisp practical session involving one girl and one boy student on JAM on one topic and feedback on the guest lecture. The programme ended with the vote of thanks presented by the Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean Ag. College, Adilabad.
